Yeaman Auto Body is a Palo Alto-based auto repair shop that specializes in collision repair and painting. It’s staffed with unibody frame specialists who use state-of-the-art precision equipment, and it offers computerized estimates, coordination with insurance companies and complimentary local rides. As an added service, it can also arrange towing and rental cars for its customers.

Scott Yeaman established Yeaman Auto Body in 1980 after apprenticing at Mission Body & Fender in Oakland for 11 years. After attaining his MA from Stanford University in 1973, Mr. Yeaman spent time as a high school math teacher and coach until he decided to switch his career to the auto body trade.

Yeaman Auto Body belongs to the California Autobody Association (CAA) and subscribes to its code of ethics: To uphold high standards of honesty, integrity and craftsmanship. “Our primary goal is to restore your car to pre-accident quality and condition,” says Mr. Yeaman. The company also incorporates environmentally safe practices when possible, including the use of water-based paints without solvents or with low VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
